After spending some time doing informal change management consulting for internal audiences, we were determined to develop a change management model using social sciences discoveries about human psychology around motivation and ability, as well as current thinking about creating the right environment for leading change. I acted as the principal architect for the effort and Cerner CLEAR was developed. This effort was a key factor in Cerner winning the contract ($1B) with Veteran Affairs for change management as a part of their modernization effort.
